30 Years of Holistic Health and Fitness
Rachel Livingstone has been providing a holistic approach to health and fitness for over 30 years.
Upon arriving in Australia in 1998 Rachel worked in several Sydney gyms and ran a mobile Personal Training business.
In 2006 Rachel opened The Health Hub studio in Darlinghurst where she housed all her fitness and wellbeing services and added an onsite naturopath and massage therapist and kids care first aid courses.
Rachel’s business and ideas have been featured in The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Telegraph, Mother & Baby and Pregnancy & Birth. She has appeared on Channel 7’s Sunrise and written the ‘Move of the Week’ column for The Telegraph’s Body & Soul section as well as articles for Pregnancy & Birth and Bub Hub parenting website. Rachel was also chosen as spokesperson for Pears Australia’s gestational diabetes campaign in 2008.
In 2014 Rachel became the resident fitness writer for www.bondibeauty.com.au, an online women’s health and fitness magazine and a popular writer for the online women's running magazine Running Divas. She has become well recognised as a health and fitness author also regularly contributing to The Medical Republic, a fortnightly publication that goes out to some 22,000 GPs Australia wide.
Believing it is important to educate the fitness professionals of the future Rachel has provided practicum placements for Exercise Physiology students from The University of New South Wales for the past 15 years. She also recently became a Pro Trainer on the fitnessU mentorship scheme for up and coming new personal trainers.
Having completed her Cert IV in Training and Education, Rachel also worked as a content writer, trainer and assessor for Fitness Network and Personal Training Academy.
2018 sees Rachel launch a unique online Pregnancy Fitness & Wellbeing Program - the affordable, convenient, fun, online version of the hugely successful Glowing Expectations Program. Over 3000 pregnant women and new mums have enjoyed Glowing Expectations face to face program in the last 16 years. The online program makes this program available to women Australia wide.
Rachel currently combines the management of her online program with home visits for fitness and wellbeing appointments for a variety of clients.
