Mum's Fitness
Our post natal program is designed to get mum back into exercise and staying active, be it to keep in shape ready for the next pregnancy or simply to ensure longterm good health.
Studio sessions - we know that two of the obstacles to exercising at this time are childcare and time keeping. You are welcome to bring your baby with you to the studio where they can sit within your sight in their capsule or stroller, on a mat or in the playpen. Also, although you only exercise for an hour, the session times are one and a half hours long in case you are running late, need to feed in the middle or just want some extra time to chat with other mums.
These mum and bub sessions comprise cardio, strength and toning work and pay special attention to the abdominals and lower back to help your body cope with all the lifting and carrying that comes with being a new mum.
Park sessions - for those who enjoy the outdoors you may bring your baby in a stroller to a mixed pre and post natal, weekend session in Centennial Park (refer Locations page for map). Perhaps you could combine it with a power walk around the park before or after the session or a family breakfast at the café (for further information about the park sessions please see the timetable page).
